Od czwartku zaostrzone restrykcje na coraz większym obszarze Anglii!

Minister Zdrowia Hancock poinformował, że w kolejnych regionach Anglii zostanie wprowadzony czwarty stopień zagrożenia.
Do tej pory czwarty stopień zagrożenia obowiązywał między innymi w Londynie oraz całym regionie South East. Minister Zdrowia ogłosił, że czwarty stopień zagrożenia zostnaie wprowadzony w West
Midlands, Hartlepool, czesc East Midlands, (Northamptonshire oraz Leicestershire). Lancashire – Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Pendle Ribble Valley – najprawdopodobniej także znajdą się w czwartej strefie zagrożenia.
Decyzje o podniesieniu stopnia zagrożenia Matt Hancock uzasadniał faktem, że zwiększa się liczba zakażeń w innych częsciach Anglii – nie tylko w Londynie czy South East jak to było jeszcze kilka tygodni temu. Eksperci podkreslają, że obecnie NHS jest na granicy swoich mocy i jeżeli w ciągu najbliższych dni sytuacja się nie poprawi to może dojsć do poważnych perturbacji w całym sektorze służby zdrowia.
Hancock został także zapytany czy rząd rozważa wprowadzenie ogólnokrajowego lockdownu. Zdaniem ministra takie rozwiązanie nei wchodzi obecnei w grę ponieważ nie we wszystkich rejonach Anglii stan zagrożenia jest taki sam.
